Dear Humans! I know it is time for fireworks again. Don't get me wrong, I love some things about the fourth of July....hot dogs, the celebration of freedom and BBQ. That about sums it up. What I don't love ...the loud noises coming from the sky. I'm going to give you humans two tips on surviving the holiday with us:
1. Give us a Safe Space. Create a spot with all our favorite blankets and toys. A spot to ride out all of the noisy firework celebrations.
2. Keep us Inside. As much as I would love to be out and about in the summer air, I think it is best for you to stay home and comfort me through the noise. So many animals go missing on July 4th trying to escape the noise and lights. Just keep me home.
So there you have it! While you humans enjoy your fireworks and food, I want to be inside relaxing with my friends and maybe a few new treats. See you on the 5th!
